Busy week in the 400′s

I wonder how these dogs can afford such elaborate costumes?

Friday Computer Lab Agenda:

1.  Hand in IRL.

2.  Is your Gory Story edited and on the bulletin board? If not, finish up today, she said, imploringly.

3. Web work:  You will use the Evaluating Web Pages site to evaluate the “Guys Read” Webpage.  Print out when you are done.  5 points for your L. A. grade.

Friday notes:  This week has been way busy, with the cognitive test, Pippin, Halloween parties, Healthy Food presentations, and of course, parent teacher conferences.  Today we will work in the computer lab with the goal of finishing up our gory stories.  We will begin a technology project:  Evaluating a web page.

Monday notes:  We worked in the computer lab, typing up our detailed stories.  In third period, we analyzed Halloween ads with Professor Lewison.  Good fun was had by all.  See you tomorrow, ye ghouls and goblins.

Happy Weekend! I’m going to work on a presentation I’m going to make in Nashville in a few weeks. I’m going to a conference for the NCTE, National Council of Teachers of English. Wish me luck. I haven’t even started!

  12.   By Rebecca B. on Nov 6, 2006 |

Hello Jonathan. I don’t know you either, but I’m sorry that no one is talking to you. Hey Melanie! How is Blue Block?! Your in Alps right? I’m in Silver. Are you playing in the Solo and Ensamble contest?

Becca – blue block is sweet. Yeah, I’m in ALPS. Cool… Yeah, I will probably do a clarinet solo, a flute solo, and a 2 clarinet/2 flute ensamble (with Andy, Aileen, and Kathy). Yeah, I love the word “ironic” too. And “irony”. I used to think that if something was “ironic”, it was made of iron. But hey, I was a little kid! Haha… I love 7th grade though!

  15.   By Rebecca B. on Nov 7, 2006 |

You play the flute?! Cool. Do you have a lot of homework?

  16.   By Johnathan on Nov 7, 2006 |

Rebecca what grade are you in? :~) 8)

  17.   By Melanie on Nov 8, 2006 |

Yeah,, I do play flute. Homework in ALPS? Well, I guess that we have less daily homework, but a lot more long term projects. Oh, sorry Johnathan, I accidently spelled your name before. Well, Becca’s in 7th grade like me.

How much hoomwork did everyone get today? I got alot again because they give us the hoomwork right before we have to go so that does not give us time to do it.

Hey Matt! Great to hear from you!
    Tell Bethan hi.
Wales sounds wonderful. I was only there once, and I saw some people paragliding off some beautiful cliffs.
    Don’t try that! V. dangerous.

    Ms. H.,
I agree with Jonathon; the teachers don’t give us enough time-advance to get ahead on our homework. It BUGS me! Oh well!

BTW, Ms. H. is there any extra credit in Social Studies, Science, and/or Language Arts???
