Snow, anyone?

Thursday Notes:  Today was Community Day.  We had quite a few visitors popping in to 201.  Raekwon and Jessie did a great job as tour guides.  Then our wonderful singers, dancers and musicians performed for the whole school.  Our class had so many performers up there.  I was bursting with PRIDE!!! The Chalkbox Kid literature group met for a great chat.  At the end of the day, we went to computer lab and visited the websites listed below.  We are doing great!!!

Wednesday Notes:  The YMCA taught us an extremely ACTIVE game today.  It was fun.  We had a fantastic literature circle talk about Flip Flop Girl.  We also discussed a new book called Carpet Maker’s Gift.  How are you enjoying your literature book?

Tuesday Notes:  We did an AWESOME job with our political cartoons and our book reviews.  Everyone worked hard in their literature log today as well.  The TRINORTH band came and gave an awesome concert.  The YMCA talked about the importance of keeping our lungs healthy.  We had a chilly, but fun walk around our block.

Monday Notes:  I’ve been horrible about the blogging lately, but I’m going to get back into gear.

Today we imagined life as a Miami Indian in this area in the year of 1811 and then we wrote letters

about losing our land.  We also worked on book reviews and visited our book buddies.

Hope you all are well!!!  I would like some snow.  Do you think we’ll get some???
